Kids & Stress is a one-hour-long course designed to help children manage stress. The class discusses some of the many significant stressful life events kids may go through. Things like bullying, pressure from school, or big worldly news events can take center stage in a young mind causing distress, anxiety, or anger. We’ll discuss how to talk about these events and explore ways to help reduce a child’s stress level. We’ll practice some of these techniques and, for those who want to follow along, we have a short crafting session near the end of the class (registrants will receive a supply list in their registration email).
This short but informative session would be helpful for parents of young kids, those who work with small children, and will also be open to youth.
